Two fuses for the ABS are located under the protection cap next to the fuse box. These fuses protect the return pump and the hydraulic unit of the ABS. The third fuse, which protects the ABS control unit, is located in the fuse box.
Preparatory work
- Switch off the ignition by turning the ignition key to the position .
- Remove the seat.
To change the fuse of the ABS hydraulic unit:
- Take off the protection cap and remove fuse 1.

You can recognize a faulty fuse by a burned-out fuse wire A.
Warning
Fire hazard Incorrect fuses overload the electrical system.
- Only use fuses with the required ampere value.
- Do not bypass or repair fuses.
- Use spare fuses with the correct rating only.

Tip
Replace spare fuse 2 in the fuse box so that it is available if needed.
- Mount the protection cap.
To change the fuse of the ABS return pump:
- Take off the protection cap and remove fuse 3.

- Mount the seat.
Changing the fuses of individual power consumers
Info
The fuse box with the main fuse and the fuses of the individual power consumers are located under the seat.
Preparatory work
- Switch off the ignition by turning the ignition key to the position .
- Remove the seat.
Main work
- Open fuse box cover 1.
- Remove the faulty fuse.

Note Damage to reflector Grease on the reflector reduces the brightness. Grease on the bulb will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean and degrease the bulbs before mounting. Do not touch the bulbs with your bare hands. Remove the screw on the rear of the turn signal housing. Carefully remove diffuser 1. Push bulb 2 lightly into the socket, turn approx. 30ยบ counterclockwise, and pull it out of the socket.
